Same day quote was unexpected. This review for just estimation process so far for an old house with low slope roof. Because reviews have limited space, I'll update this after service is completed. Neighbors suggest specifically contact Chuck. I've probably already gone through maybe 8 different roofers in a year span, and they are the only ones who suggested everything correctly. 11/12/2025 Chuck and Eric visited. They were easy to talk to, explains well; professional. And most of all, they actually gave CORRECT solutions for a low slope roof from ventilation design to diligence in my nailing concerns (with new ducts squashed inside the attic, knowing we have a deck size, to knowing it takes diligence nailing with decks/planks vs typical plywood). They actually check the attic too which most roofers refuse to do, and think it's not necessary. They even found out that our HVAC didn't do the correct work and immediate repairs were needed. They hit all the points I needed in testing....why do I have to test professionals? We've gone through over 8 roofers to find out we were given wrong info. - Anyone with old home issues to creative roofing of all sorts, they'll take the time to care = craft vs cookie cutting/plug and play roof scammers out there. - Chuck is willing to address concerns! Even about my concern about some negative Yelp reviews that were concerning to me. Chuck and Eric checked the attic, to figure out what type of roof bottom we have. We have a low slope roof, 1950s home, with a 1inch deck and 2x6 truss underneath it. - From the attic access, they took the extra step to flashlight look into the smaller spaces and how the ducts are squashed in. They were confident that our attic/roof situation with nail concerns will not be a concern, and the smaller nails used will not damage the new ducts. My concern is damage to our new HVAC ducts squashed within our tiny attic space. Temporary old HVAC unit location hole on the roof (and rain coming soon!): - Temporary fix is free if we plan to use them for our roofing. Tarp is not 100%, could leak a little but less. As long as it's not continuous leak, than mold isn't an issue. Low Slope Roof: Everything they suggested was correct! - Certain underlayment is suggested because of the roof pitch. - Ventilation options: O'Hagin low profile vents used in high and low areas; these are used for intake and exhaust air = CORRECT. - Our house is slats/planking!!!! Vs just plywood = CORRECT. They will quote the price per foot plank vs per plywood. Most people keep quoting only plywood which our roof IS NOT. We've gotten roofers tell us that these planking/our deck has gaps where nails can't hold down shingles; and sell us full plywood cover over the whole roof to do shingles. Ariat/Chuck mentioned the solution is just normal craft of diligent nailing, watching where to nail the shingles. - Vents are included. - Gutters: They don't do gutters but they have a gutter person they highly recommend. We need gutters due to qualifying for the foundation injection warranty done. Chuck and Eric mentioned that there aren't really anyone they'll recommend, but only this gutter person. And they do seamless gutters too. Warranty, and Financing - Credit card 4% fee. Financing company, enhancify with multiple loans with soft pull. They'll offer multiple loans and terms. Can take more loan if qualify. - 10 Years labor. - If use the correct manufacturing GAF products, then it could be a 50yr warranty (which a neighbor Tommy did). Ariat will submit all the info to the manufacturer, where we will get an official warranty from the manufacturer. Any repairs done, Ariat are paid by the manufacturer to fix for us for free. They like using GAF warranty more than others like Owens Corning. - Cost could be a bit more pricey for a low slope roof and warranty.
I needed to replace the roof on my 25 year old Vegas house. Roof type was cement S tile. Price: Ariat came in 50% below another quote I got in the Valley Scheduling: They had the crew work my job until it was done. This is always important to me so there is no breaks in the job or folks who know what has been done so far. Craftsmanship: I know their crew did a good job because I had my roof replaced on one of the only weeks of the year it rained a lot here. They told me each day the roof would be left in a watertight condition even part way through the job and they were correct. Also they do double layer felt to ensure it makes it another 25 years. Safety/Cleaning: They picked up at the end of each day and then did a thorough cleaning at the end of the job. Customer Service: There was a small portion I wanted re-done and I had no trouble getting them to do the fix.
Ariat Roofing customer service is top notch, I received an estimate for my roof tiles that were damaged by the solar company! I needed them replaced and repaired before escrow closed! The solar company ghosted us! I called Ariat came out and gave me a bid! The solar company finally came out and fixed the tile but didn’t provide the necessary paperwork for the escrow! I put a call into Aaron the Property Manager and he had his team go over and get photos and the paperwork I needed to closed! Great company I will definitely refer others to them! Bless your team Aaron!
Ariat Roofing (father & son) came out to do our estimate and were very thorough and helpful. Estimate included pictures to show us where the issues were. The estimate was exactly what they charged, nothing hidden, and they even helped to put a vent cover on that the original builder didn't install. The first rain came after they did the repair and their repair worked. Very happy with their services, from estimate to billing!
As we all know when something happens and we need the services of a contractor we call and expect them to just show up the moment we hang up because we’re in a panic. Then reality sets in and we realize to get the best we have to be worked into their schedule. Back on May 22nd I was hit by a micro burst damaging my roof. First call was to my insurance company and then after numerous attempts to find a roofing company I got a hold of Ariat Roofing and spoke with Cecilia who informed me just how busy most of the roofers are. She did say she could get Josh out in a couple days to inspect my damage and get me a bid to do the needed repairs. She also told me that scheduling was out about 3 to 4 weeks once the bid was accepted. Since I was also dealing with insurance, timing was not a big issue although I wanted to get the work done. Their bid was great and acceptable to me and the insurance company also sent out an estimated which was right in line with their bid. Once I received my check from the insurance company I called Cecilia and asked that Josh stop back out so I could ask some questions. At that time he also had Aaron with him. I needed to have some of my solar panels removed in order to complete the work and we decided to do more than just fix the problem if I could afford to do so. After making some new measurements, the bid to a more complete job was within my budget and I accepted it. Josh also gave me the name of a solar company, 1Sun Solar Electric and said to talk with Reta. After talking with her I got a price acceptable to me for removal and replacement of the solar panels. Anyone trying to find a solar company to do any work on their solar system knows it very hard to find a quality company to work on a system they didn’t install, and my guess is more than half the solar companies that were here 5 years ago are gone or out of business. Anyway, Cecilia was able to get with their scheduling team and set me up to get my roof work completed plus she also contacted Reta at 1 Sun Solar to make sure that they were able to do the necessary work so everything would work out with as little delay as necessary. Their crew showed up and did an excellent job repairing my roof. They knew my better half worked from home and had two meetings that day and respected her needs and still did exceptional work. We all want to get our issues handled right now and realize if you want the best, you must get worked into their schedule. I will tell you that Ariat Roofing is the best. Cecilia, Josh, and Aaron are the best as is the crew that did the work. I Highly Recommend Ariat Roofing and 1Sun Solar Electric.
Review data aggregated from public sources · ARCO does not moderate third-party reviews
The difference between "good enough" and proven excellence. Only the top roofers in America earn ARCO Accreditation — recognition of true craftsmanship, ethics, and integrity.
Peace of Mind: Every ARCO-Accredited roofer has been checked against public licensing records, safety records, complaint history, and verified customer reviews.
Work You Can Trust: ARCO's evaluation includes manufacturer certification programs — credentials that can help preserve your roof's warranty coverage.
Verified, Not Self-Reported: ARCO's findings come from government and third-party sources — state filing offices, SAM.gov, OSHA, and the BBB — not from paperwork a contractor submits about itself.
A Public Paper Trail: Every accredited profile publishes its report number, evaluation date, and sources — so any homeowner can independently verify the findings at RoofingContractors.org.
