Elite Roof and Solar - Roofing Contractor in Charlotte, NC

I had ceiling water spots show up after a heavy snow, and I was worried it was shingle/roof damage. Andy Wohl from Elite Roof & Solar came out quickly and was extremely honest and professional. He initially considered melting the ice outside, but then went into the attic first and found the real cause: snow had blown in through the ridge exhaust vent and settled in the attic. There was no shingle damage. He removed the snow from the attic, explained what was happening, and told me what to do next (let it dry and then touch up the ceiling). He didn’t try to sell me a roof replacement or unnecessary repairs. He also recommended a specific ridge vent upgrade (Cobra SnowCountry Advanced Premium Exhaust Vent) to help prevent this in the future. If you want someone who actually diagnoses the problem instead of creating one, ask for Andy.

The team at Elite Roofing, especially my project manager Andy Wohl, were wonderful. They took their time to completely explain the process of a new roof, including answering all my questions throughout the process. They were prompt in their responses, on time for the installation, and did a excellent job. At several points in the process, Andy checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable with the progress. They even offered to change light bulbs! I would absolutely recommend them for a home roof replacement.

We had a tree fall on our home above our child’s bedroom. Andy made room in his busy day to make our home a priority. He came out the same day and protected our house from water damage, explained everything clearly, and with a great deal of knowledge. Truly the best experience with a roofer or contractor I have had. Could not recommend more.

They worked with another company removed our existing solar panels. Removed our shingles and took them away replacement with a new standing metal seam roof .and new gutters . I am very please with the work they have done and feel confident I won't need anouther roof on our family home in my lifetime which was our goal The solar panels were reinstalled with a special fastner that allowed them not to drill any holes in the new roof I am very pleased with it ..I highly recommend them everyone else we checked with would have drilled holes into the new roof . Price was very reasonable. Thanks 😊

We are very pleased with our new roof and gutters. Andy was professional, knowledgeable, and very quick to respond to any of our questions/concerns. They clearly take pride in their work, and it shows in quality results. They also back their workmanship and materials with a 25-year warranty (no extra cost). Hopefully I’ll never need a new roof again, but if I do, I’ll give Andy a call.
