ARCO Review Findings
Highlands Roofing is consistently praised for their professional, efficient service and high-quality workmanship on both repairs and full roof installations. Customers frequently highlight the team's clear communication, responsiveness, and commitment to leaving the job site clean and well-maintained.
Taylor and team did a great job repairing a small leak in my dormer as well as replacing a failed skylight. The pricing was reasonable and they were very careful to damage the new flooring under the new skylight. I highly recommend them!
5 Stars – Outstanding Experience with Highlands Roofing! I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received from Highlands Roofing. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. A huge shoutout to Woody and BJ, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was done perfectly. They were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also friendly, prompt, and transparent throughout the whole process. They took the time to explain everything clearly, kept me updated at every stage, and made sure the job was done right the first time. The quality of the work is top-notch, and it’s clear they truly care about their customers. If you’re looking for reliable, honest, and expert roofing services, I highly recommend Highlands Roofing—and ask for Woody and BJ if you can. They’re the best!
We had an exceptional experience with Highlands roofing. Upon receiving several estimates we decided to hire highlands roofing to fix a hole in the roof I discovered while up in the attic. Cole came out to the house for the initial inspection and was super friendly and professional. He got us on the calendar way sooner than expected and had his crew out within a few days. The crew was very professional and got the repair done in a timely manner. Cole was very attentive to answer any questions or concerns I had. They took before and after pictures to show the quality work they completed. I highly recommend them for any roofing needs one may have. We will definitely be using them again in the future. If I could rate them more than 5 stars I would.
We highly recommend Highlands Roofing for anyone on the OBX. Beginning with Josh Healy, the project manager, who helped from beginning to end, this company did a great job! From the removal of our old roof and replacement of our new roof, the work was pristine! The clean-up left our property looking cleaner than it was before the roof was replaced!
We had great experience with Highlands Roofing! Very professional, competent and simply nice folks. We installed fortified roof and it was one of our most seamless and pleasant projects. From planning through preparation, installation, cleaning, inspection and certification with NCIUA all was smooth and easy on us. They even went above and beyond and fixed previously damaged fascia under the roof. All was done in one day using high quality materials. Quality of work and look of our new roof just outstanding! Thank you, Highlands Roofing!
Review data aggregated from public sources · ARCO does not moderate third-party reviews
The difference between "good enough" and proven excellence. Only the top roofers in America earn ARCO Accreditation — recognition of true craftsmanship, ethics, and integrity.
Peace of Mind: Every ARCO-Accredited roofer has been checked against public licensing records, safety records, complaint history, and verified customer reviews.
Work You Can Trust: ARCO's evaluation includes manufacturer certification programs — credentials that can help preserve your roof's warranty coverage.
Verified, Not Self-Reported: ARCO's findings come from government and third-party sources — state filing offices, SAM.gov, OSHA, and the BBB — not from paperwork a contractor submits about itself.
A Public Paper Trail: Every accredited profile publishes its report number, evaluation date, and sources — so any homeowner can independently verify the findings at RoofingContractors.org.
