How ARCO Evaluates Roofing Contractors

How evaluations are conducted

Records first. Then a finding.

ARCO does not accept applications, payments, or self-reported attestations at the evaluation stage. Findings are produced from public records and third-party data, scored against the published standard, and stored for verification.

Step 01

Public-record collection.

State filings, SOS records, OSHA establishment data, the SAM.gov extract, and consumer-platform and rating aggregates.

Step 02

Data verification.

Each data point is reconciled against its primary source and timestamped. Anything unverified is not scored.

Step 03

Weighted scoring.

Sub-scores are computed per category and rolled into a composite under ARCO Standard 2026.1, Sections 3.1–3.6.

Step 04

Committee finding.

A composite at or above 8.5 with no automatic disqualifiers qualifies the contractor for accreditation.
