High quality, reliable, organized and great cleanup. We've used Tans' 4 times in the last 3 years on a variety of roof issues. They fixed leaks that others could not resolve. They upgraded skylights so well (and with such little interior dust/dirt) that we've used them for 3 different situations. Because they are good, you need to wait a while for non-urgent work -- but definitely worth the wait.

We needed a replacement roof, joist repair, and new sheathing+insulation on our 3-flat building here in West Town just outside of Downtown Chicago. Larry and his team were great with communicative & very professional. When they opened up the roof they found more damage than expected, but promptly sent over photos and gave a fair quote to do the other work as well as educating me on why it needed to get done. His team in the field, including foreman, were kind, clean and cared about their craft. I would hire them again in a minute and would recommend them to anyone looking for any/all things roofing.

This is the second time we've had to call in Tan's for an unexpected roof problem on our flat top roof property and continue to be blown away by their customer service and workmanship. Larry is very responsive and thorough in communicating. He makes himself available for questions anytime, and really feels like a partner vs. just a hired company. Their work has stood the test of time, and the crew is respectful and thorough and does high quality work. We will continue to use Tan's for all our roofing any masonry needs and highly recommend them

This is not the first time I requested help from Tan's Quality Roofing. Two houses roofs being worked on and the tear down of a garage that was collapsing on itself. They are just the best around and they are so helpful and they clean up afterward. I will keep on using them for any future needs. BIG THUMBS UP!!

Had a roof leak and Tans was professional during the whole experience. The fixed my issue and at a fair price. Larry was very responsive when I emailed them on a weekend and Eugenio who was on site was absolutely fantastic.

Why Hire an ARCO-Accredited Roofer
The difference between "good enough" and proven excellence. Only the top roofers in America earn ARCO Accreditation — recognition of true craftsmanship, ethics, and integrity.
Homeowner Benefits
-
Peace of Mind: Every ARCO-Accredited roofer has been checked against public licensing records, safety records, complaint history, and verified customer reviews.
-
Work You Can Trust: ARCO's evaluation includes manufacturer certification programs — credentials that can help preserve your roof's warranty coverage.
-
Verified, Not Self-Reported: ARCO's findings come from government and third-party sources — state filing offices, SAM.gov, OSHA, and the BBB — not from paperwork a contractor submits about itself.
-
A Public Paper Trail: Every accredited profile publishes its report number, evaluation date, and sources — so any homeowner can independently verify the findings at RoofingContractors.org.
