McCannical Roofing & Exteriors - Roofing Contractor in Austin, TX

Our house was damaged in the big hail storm in September 2023 in Round Rock. While the roof was repaired quickly, the other repairs proved to be very difficult. William McCann of McCannical Roofing was the saving grace. Our previous roof was replaced due to damage from the 2021 hailstorm. Our go-to roofer repaired the roof immediately but they only did roof work. However, the hail had also damaged the vinyl siding, the gutters, downspouts, and windows. In coordination with the insurance company, we tried to arrange for the other repairs. One major difficulty was our damaged siding was vinyl. The companies we were referred to said they did not work with vinyl and wanted to upgrade the work to hardy board. Eventually we found three other companies that said they would do the work. After each company provided estimates, and agreed to do the work, each ultimately declined to perform the work for various reasons. Multiple delays within the companies including three estimator turnovers within a three-month period, phone calls not returned and an owner who stated that without the roof replacement, his company would not make any money on the job. Coming upon the deadline for repairs, we were referred to Will McCann of McCannical Roofing & Exteriors. Will came out to review the needed repairs. His knowledge and familiarity with required insurance paperwork helped us move forward on a stalled project. There was no problem with the size of the job and the various quirks and challenges with respect to the siding, eves, and other needed repairs. Will provided the estimate to the insurance company and his team of workers met the challenges in matching the existing color of parts of the house that did not need to be replaced, pointed out ways that the work might be done easier/less expensively, and provided reasonable costs for the few upgrades we requested. The workers were friendly, courteous, and respectful of our home and work site. We highly recommend McCannical Roofing and Exteriors for any home projects and home repairs you may need. Will’s professionalism and attention to detail turned a months-long headache into a snap in a matter of a few weeks. If only we had known about McCannical Roofing sooner!

Top Tier! Wow. It’s obvious from the moment you meet him owner Will is passionate about providing high quality and value for his customers. You really won’t find a better company for roofing (and also fencing!) needs, we are very pleased. Lastly I didn’t realize Will is a mechanical engineer by background, he knows his stuff!

I had hail damage and needed to replace my roof. Will is very trustworthy and great to work with. The team did a great job installing a quality product. Very happy with the roof replacement.

Will McCann is the man. I unfortunately have needed many roof repairs due to a cheap builder, and he has taken care of them with care and promptness. When some shingles blew off and I was trying to get insurance to take care of it, he sent his crew out to tarp it up for me. Just top notch service and a great guy. Fair prices and honest work. He also uses a drone to take detailed pics of any damage, allowing you to see exactly where the issues are. Cannot recommend McCannical enough, best in the biz.

McCannical Roofing recently replaced my roof and installed attic venting. They did an excellent job! I was very impressed with Will’s customer service. He was very personable, patient, helpful and always responded promptly. Thank you, Will!
